A soft case 3s is already plenty of power for hours or trail / crawl, how much more do you need?

I know the lil 3s batteries are enough. The problem is I have more actual 1/10 size batteries and it sure would be nice to use them without buying more batteries.

Run them inside on either side in parallel....mega run time ! Velcro strap them to the cage.

Seems to be a good idea I would just like to run the interior.

Not sure what that means, but if you're talking stuff like shorty packs (10th scale buggy?) simply put weatherstripping material in the box and you're golden. I make my battery boxes out of aluminum and inlay the tray with just that material. Stack the material as necessary. Hardware stores usually carry it up to 1-1/2" thick, open and closed cell foam. Just don't pack it solid, so battery heat can dissipate. Hope that helps ya out.

I have a 5200mah 3s soft case and 5200mah 2s hard cases that both fit almost the same, the 3s soft is a little thicker so I had to slide the battery tray open a little for them.

I did close to an hour and a half of trail/crawling(no full throttle bashing) on the 5200mah 3s and my battery was only at 3.7v per cell.
