Tubework done & powdercoated. I love black fine texture!

I made some mounts for the seats

I made some handles for the tube doors out of 4-40 screws & 1/8 square stock

Body on flex shot

Bed Cage

I'm gonna run the spares side x side & that shelf behind the cab will house a gas can & a power tank. Maybe scale welding tanks, if I can find them.

The body work is almost done so it's time for some styrene/detail work. And I'm not sure what color to paint the body. I have a few choices:
satin black
white - like a desert truck
Olive drab w/black hood or
Blue w/white hood like this

Hot damn that's sexy, great work. You sure do build sweet rigs! I think satin black with red pin strips.

WOW this build is so dietailed! of course i love the chevy body! the full cage is awsome and the doors? no body has them! they look great! youd like the mud thrashers if you had a stiffer foam in them, and they look great on there!

Damn Coles, that is looking great. The powdercoat really cleans up all the tubework and ties it all into the frame nicely. I love the doors too, real smooth.

I'm planning on being there again & if all goes as planned this will be my 1.9 entry.

Funny ..... it is the same body though.
After cutting the doors out the body was too weak. I've already broken it twice, so I decided on the interior cage w/tube doors.

I'm thinking that's what I'm gonna go with just need some hummer wheels

Thanks man. The PC does do wonders. Maybe we'll get the trail runners together one day

Thanks & you will my friend!

I got the body all primered up and started on the styrene work, did I mention that I love that stuff!

Hi-lift Jack

Fuel cell & cargo holder. I want some lil welding tanks to go in there too.

I'm really liking the dual spares!

I had to take it out for a shakedown run yesterday & couldn't stop going through the puddles! Everything seems to work fine. The only problem I had was the tires kept coming off the wheels!!!!

I'm a Land rover man by definition, but that is a great looking rig. especially that cage work!!!!!

What are you going to do with the wheels? what about the pressed steel RC4WD ones?
