I know another yota I started out by painting the bed silver and then did a black wash over the whole thing to give it a worn look and put hand marks and wiped spots underneath then i cut out for a torch then I started the interior the dashboard is mounted to the truck so i had to leave a space between it and the center console that is all I've done for now but I will keep posting progress as i get time to work on it. |

Looks really good. I like how you aged the bed using the black wash. Nifty idea indeed. |

Nice looking rig man, I'm doing a Hilux Honcho as we speak. I really like how you did the back end with the torch on your truck. Very clean Keep up the good work. |

Looks really good! You should raise your front bumper on top of the mounting holes it makes it look so much better.

Great idea about lifting the front bumper I was planning on comping this truck this year so that would help alot, and as far as mounting the the cage I am still working on that. |

The bed looks really great! How did you do the "black wash" to give it a worn look? Can you give me some details how that works?

To do the black wash you just take black paint and thinner about 50/50 paint it over everything and blotch or wipe it away with a rag while it is wet It will sit in the corners and low spots,if you have too dark of spots just put thinner on a brush and repeat to your liking.iyou can do the same on the hi-lift jack and gas tank
