This must be one of my most favorite builds on RCC. Ive seen alot of KOH rigs built here but you deffinatly hit the nail on the head with this one. It looks right and has the "feel" to it.

Awesome job, keep it up

Man you guys across the pond have got it good, great cars!

Did you ever see the top gear Toyota pick up they slowly obliterated, it's final downfall was being on the roof of a block of flats that was raised to the ground.
When they found it in the rubble, they still managed to start the engine.

Keep on trucking!

That is one Saweet rig!!! The detail is awesome and I like how you always changing the wheel and tire combos. Its like every set of photos has a different something bolted to the axle. I'm gonna have to finish reading this thread and figure out what color you painted it. It changes form hello, to orange, to red depending on the light. THat is just simply cool!!!! Great build and I love your 1.1 rig too. Have a great one!!

Oh yes, I remember that red diesel Hilux. They let the tide at beach bury it, that was my favorite part. Thanks man.

Thank you Jimmyjam, the paint is from Testors (Pactra), both rattle cans of Competition Orange. I bought one for plastic model kits, that got sprayed on the hood. The one for lexan got sprayed on the side panels. The same with the black paint.

Tamiya also sells matching orange spray paint in lexan and plastic versions to match up the hood with the side panels.
