I don't think that it's really necessary. There are pretty easy to find in the Vendor's Market.

I offer a four link truss, but wouldn't find a sticky necessary. You can search the vendors section and find them very easily. |

| We dont need a sticky to find a 4link kit to BUY we need a sticky to discuss all the 4link stuff. Ergo, tech questions and the REPEATED questions/concerns/comments about ALL 4 link setups on the SCX. |

I think of better service to the community would be a general SCX10 info sticky with categories and info on each one with the option available just like in several of the other truck specific forums. Have categories like: Wheels & Tires Suspension Steering Bodies ESC's, Motors, and Electrical |

I think a sticky on specific tech categories would be more helpful to people rather than a sticky on a 4 Link. I mean really is a 4 link that hard to figure out? Maybe something discussing the different types of axle mods, suspension tips (4 link included in this section) and electronics preferences like mentioned above would be more valuable. |

A 4link can be very difficult depending on what you are doing. I know for me I had a TON of questions about it, not just the rear but front as well. So to answer your question, YES a 4link is that hard to figure out. I for one wanted to know what would and would not work before I shelled out $$$ on parts that I didnt need. Just look at all the threads I posted up that should be clue #1! | |

Ther is no need for a sticky. There's literally tons of threads about 4 links and it doesn't have to be SCX10 specific. Half the fun is experimenting anyways. Or just read the AntiSquat 4 link Suspension Tech Thread over and over. Anything that you should know about link position, length, and angle is there. If you have any reading comprehension at all you chould only have to read the entire thing 2 or 3 times lol! I'm suprised it hasn't been stickied yet. If you want to get super tech here's a 4 link calculator so one can obsess for days http://http://mysite.verizon.net/tri...tml/index.html As a general rule try to get the uppers as parralel to the ground and as close to the same length as the lowers and you'll be golden. Oh and triangulation triangulation triangulation! |
