| Jedi's Honcho - Never-ending Mods!
Hi guys! got this TR Honcho and decided to change some of the plastic parts and add scale items. However, living on this side of the globe, upgrade parts are hard to come by, so these will do for now. (thank God for eBay!) Changed the stock esc and radio, thinking about going brushless too. I was frustrated with the tr not having real head lights so I just had to do something about it using the stock stickers and spare light buckets I had. Turned out great. I plan to respray the body on the out side, but i'll just enjoy bashing it around for a while. I'm having troubles on how to let the winch work with my 4pk, So any suggestions please do let me know. On to the Pictures! Still thinking about full waterproofing, fender wheel wells, and a 35 turn motor. Thanks for looking! Last edited by jedi; 06-17-2010 at 08:37 PM. |

traxxas4fun - I'll try to post pics soon, all I did was use a sharp exacto and scored the portion of what is supposed to be the printed light buckets on the sticker, notice how I left the horizontal lines to make it blend. The I used a dremel with a wire brush to take out the paint on the inside, then I stuck some light buckets with shoe goo. Status - yes that is a cc01. Hacked and waterproofed! More scale stuff on the way. Thanks guys! |

Thanks for the link! Hopefully I can make it work tomorrow. Do I just plug the winch controler's end to the 3rd channel of my reciever then do the steps on the link? (sorry for the newbiness, I have it working now using the button switch on the winch controler) |

| I do believe you can plug the winch into the rx and use those steps.

Still having troubles with the winch, followed the instructions, still don't know what I'm doing wrong, no movement whatsoever... Anybody else want to school me?

Thanks guys! @ fallensk8man89 - its a cc01 based wrangler @ Adamsdad - they are ABC hobby light buckets for drifts cars I did a little wheeling today and decided to do a couple of stuff. I had time to plastidip my winch controller, and while it was set to dry i added details to the scale air tank. added a first aid kit, safety first! too cluttered? what do you guys think? used my spare plates and mounted it using small hinges. it flips upside down incase of a roll over. I'm planning to put 2 new plates back to back, something like rockin - rolled crawlin - crap I added my extra toyota emblem from my tundra, backed it with some carbon fiber patterned sticker. looks ok to me. thats all for today. thanks for lookin'! |
