Here is a couple poser pics with the new wheels and tires. Haven't done the links yet, so I will be stretching the wheelbase a little in the front.

Put the aluminum links on today and stretched it out... Also got the pro-line roof rack and accessories installed, added mirrors, wipers and a hand brothers CMS kit. it's also 4-linked front and rear.

I also starred on the unlimited build.
I bought the axles and chassis from rpp out of salvage, picked up an aluminum honcho kit, and stretched this one out too.
Next steps are to get a r2 tranny and holmes electronics, and a hand bros CMS. I have the body just laying on there but I think I found a decent wheelbase for it.

Very nice, gotta love the jk's. I have a surf blue 2dr 1:1 and love it. I've often thought those DC wheels would look sweet on it and now I know

I love that 4dr one! Are those 1.9 tires? or 2.2? How much did you have to stretch it to fit the 4dr body? Anything else needed to stretch it other than the links? I have a 4 jk body coming.

Thanks! Yeah those are 1.9's, they look huge. I can look and see what link lengths I used. I think it was 98 for the uppers and 106 on the lowers. I added spacers to them both, but only 1mm/2mm and not much more.

here are some pics of the links.
you can see the spacers I used to with the links.
upper links were 98mm, lower links were 106mm stock, front and back. I used I guess its a 1mm spacer on the uppers, and a 2mm spacer on the lowers.

I have spent more time and $$$ on my scale obsession..... It's super addictive. I love jeeps, and they just fit right in at home on the trail. The red one should be sweet. Aside from the honcho kit, that will be my first rig built from the ground up.
