| Ldogg's 2 door JK build
This rig started as an SCX10 RTR with a dingo body. I had painted up this proline body, and bought the aluminum link kit for it, and then it had set on the shelf. Well I have been bitten by the scaler bug, building a honcho, picking up a couple other honcho's and getting ready to build a 4 door unlimited from the ground up. I decided it was time to take this guy off the shelf and give it some attention. so I finished off the body with the proline stickers, picked up the DH fab JK front and rear deluxe bumpers, and a RC4WD wireless winch. I also have the aluminum kit to put on as well. Stock electronic for now, but will be swapped out at some point. I plan on doing a hand brothers CMS, and full interior as well. For now here're some pics as she stand tonight. I need to raise the rear slightly, as the rear bumper adds a little bit of weight. |

No, my honcho is black, as is my xr10. I also have a red honcho and a green one. I am starting to build a unlimited jk, and will probably do red or blue on that one too.

here's a couple pics of my current axial collection I am waiting on the new Dick Cepek DC-2's for my 4 door build, and I am debating on putting a sent on here as well, with baja claws. Last edited by LDogg; 08-10-2011 at 04:49 PM. |

My 4 door wheels and tires showed up today.... I decided that since that rig is still in pieces on the bench, why not mock up a wheel and see what they look like on the 2 door.... Bad idea.... I had already ordered baja claws for it today, and now I think I need to order a set of these wheels for it. Needs a little trim, but looks pretty nice. Guess I will be placing another order with rpp tomorrow.... |

Thanks! Those are the DH Fabrication JK deluxe front and rear bumpers. There is a thread for them in the vendors section. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=318271 I picked mine up through rpphobby. Last edited by LDogg; 08-12-2011 at 06:40 AM. |

You've got a nice collection. One of my favorite spots to wheel the RC JK was Garden of the Gods when I lived there. Enjoy the mountains for me!

Thanks, yeah there are a lot of great spots out here. I ordered a set of those wheels today, and a CMS, and new steering servo. Need to still do the links, so hopefully I will have time this weekend. Also got my 2nd new bright body in today. Was off of eBay, and it's in decent shape, the guy cut the interior up a little, but not to bad. that one is going on my red honcho with the ripsaws. |

Ok. Yeah, I figured when I do the aluminum links kit install, that I would play with those lengths. I think I have a few spacers laying around some where.
