Default Scx10 gearing and motor question

Hi im currently have the stock 87t spur and 14t pinion with a 27t axial motor in my scx10.

I will be mainly using it for trail use.

I also have a 19t pinion and 50t motor.

What do you guys think would be better suited for trail use.

I havent run the scx10 yet so i havent tried any of the combos yet

Most people seem to opt for either a 35t brushed motor or go with some sort of sensored brushless. Again that's not everyone, just a general idea of what people are running.

The 19t pinion would get you some more speed vs. the 14t. Heck, try it with what you've got in there already, you've got 4 different combos at your disposal.

I'm running a 87/14t with a Velineon brushless in mine and it's pretty quick.
