Default Pros / Cons for 2.2" on the Dingo

Looking to get some new meats on the Dingo and can't decide on 1.9" or 2.2". Going with Axial 8 hole beadlocks and Proline Flat irons in either size but what would be better between the two sizes?

well a 2.2 would perform better on the rocks and are wider.. some people dont like the looks and some people do.

1.9 if you plan to keep it a scaler. 2.2 if you're just having fun and don't care about the non-scale look.

Here's a couple of pics of my scx10 with portals and 2.2's next to one with 1.9 flat irons I just finished building. 1.9's are good for scale look but when you're wheeling with anyone with 2.2's it gets frustrating.

Well, on a 1/8 scale truck, 2.2s are perfect for approx. a 16in. wheel. It can look scale as long as the tires aren't too small.

Looks like 2.2" tires/wheels are the way to go. I'm looking for better traction and being able to keep up with other trucks. In addition, the Dingo body appears almost 1/8th scale, so the 2.2s may fit better as was suggested. I will post up some pics when I get it all set up. Thanks for the input.

Here's my sons Dingo with 2.2's ,still very scale. You're right the Dingo body is almost 1/8th scale and it looks sorta non-scale with the 1.9s and flares.

Have you considered 1.9 Mickey tompsons?? They are quiet a large tyre for 1.9 wheels
