Here are some pics of my Dingo. I purchased it used about 2 weeks ago.. This is the how it set when I first got it.. First thing I did was remove the electronics Mounted the battery over front axle with custom mounts...lol Went down to Radio shack and grabbed a electronics box.. I plan on waterproofing it ... A few goodies parts I picked up... Ahh and the cherokee A couple more 1.55's waitin on wheels I went with the mud thrashers for a more scale look but they may be too short for good crawling... opinions?? Ok its bedtime.. Last ones for the night.. Last edited by THX_138; 07-01-2012 at 03:34 AM. |

I take it that's a Proline body. Does it line up perfectly with the Dingo wheelbase? Can't completely tell from the pics. I can see where 1.9's are a bit large for the fender openings, thus the 1.55's. Do you think trimming the openings would be sufficient for the 1.9's? I'm asking as I'm about to start a Cherokee build and the body hasn't arrived yet, but I'd like to stick with 1.9's if possible. Sorry, no experience with 1.55 MudThrashers, but I may have to if the 1.9's don't work at all. |

If You trim the fender flares the 1.9's will work fine. If Ive read correctly 1.55's series tires come in different heights also. Some even as tall as the stock 1.9 series tires. The Mud thrashers are the shortest of the 1.55 series I believe... Question with this color combo should I do black or white stamped beadlocks? Waldorf near the Woodrow bridge.. A fellow MD man.. Where Do You guys crawl at? Last edited by THX_138; 07-01-2012 at 03:36 AM. | |

White beadlocks would be my choice for your blue body and thanks for the info.

[QUOTE=qwkjimmy;3576393]. The Mud thrashers are the shortest of the 1.55 series I believe... /QUOTE] False. Check rc4wd's 1.55 section. The dirt grabbers and mtz's are WAY shorter than mud thrashers. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk |
