Default honcho questions

I have a honcho with 110mm shocks and 2.2 super swampers and just broke rear driveshaft. It was doing fine with the stock motor but i put a traxxas titan 12t motor in it and of course it went a little faster. After about 5min. of runing on flat ground the driveshaft broke. I dont know if it is that the angle of the driveshaft is to steep or what. What i dont understand is that it was doing fine with the stock motor. Please let me know if anyone knows what the problem could be

Default Re: honcho questions

The culmination of having it at a higher angle, larger tires and a faster motor would be the reason for the demise. Just replace with some metal ones like the MIP or Junfac and that should fix that. Just be aware tho that replacing with metal ones will just put pressure elsewhere on the drive line and other things might break.
