|  BrAtKo's Camel Dingo II (home made D90 grille)
Hello ALL SCX fans  I have bought the new Dingo kit a few days ago and my decision was to give it the look of the trophy defender. I was inspired by few scalers who already made it. Special thanks to jzay76 for inspiration and the size of reign's grille. I've made my own grille because rpphobby has too expensive delivery costs (I do not know why cos other US shops not). I'd like you to show you my building progress with kit. For the grille Ive used HPS (styrene) and original light buckets painted with silver pen. Feel free to see my whole album. Rig looks great! This is the guy that sells the Camel Trophy decals. Wheels, Vintage Tamiya RC items in Scale Elements RC Shop store on eBay! He also sells the 1.9 Landies. It looks like he's out of them at the moment though. You might want to message him to see when he'll have them back in stock. |

jzay I have already mine custom decals JPG, only I need is to buy clean vinyl sticker A4 sheet to color laser printer. Now I'm enhancing the lights and wanna to some of lights control by 3rd channel and rest stay perm. on. Next step is waterproofing with plastidip spray. I forgot, the inner rim's rings have to be little bit grinded off to do not touch the front knuckles.

you have the outer rims on the in side , that's why they touch the front knuckles  |

@geoff yeah I know, I like this side to have outter, the knuckles needs to be grinded little off. Update: I have exchanged the rings from rear to front, no grinding  Last edited by BrAtKo; 03-29-2012 at 03:49 PM. |
