Default Receiver and Transmitter problem??

I have a Axial SCX-10 Dingo KIT. It has a castle esc and a HPI Saturn 35t motor, and a Hitec servo. But anyways i have noticed something in the last few runs. The truck will randomly shut off after about 5 minutes of running(Did not do this for first couple of runs). After awhile it will stop and not occur as often. I am useing a AX-3 transmitter and reciever. It seems it will just loose connection because it is still on but no steering or throttle. Any ideas??
-Thanks

I noticed the new radios don't last as long because they only take 4 batts. Try and change them out with new ones.
