I'd imagine whatever is closest in size to the ID of the drive shaft. Sorry, I don't have one on hand to measure, although I'm sure it's probably been discussed somewhere on here.

Use tubing, not a bar. Tubing is lighter and just take your driveshaft off and take it with you to a hardware store and see what fits.

did you try looking at a single bolt or nail you could cut the head off of?..............
unless you live on easter island and metal doesnt exist causing a bolt to be over $10..

shelf queens dont count.

and if its three years old, doesnt mean its been drove everyday, and had the crap beat out of it.

he is probably also talking about the new wb8 driveshafts which your 3 year old rig will not have on it.

I used an old aluminum axial steering link from an AX10 kit. perfect fit.
The link was scratched to heck to I put it in a drill with a piece of 400 grit sandpaper in hand and polished it smooth and it slid in the WB shaft like a hot knife through butter.
Left the end with the inner threads facing out.. No I can install a screw and pull with pliers to remove the aluminum if I need to work on the shaft.

I remember that thread.

I think somebody even used a wooden dowel and epoxied it inside.
Said it worked good, fit right, held up well, and was nice and light.

Can get a 3-4 foot piece at any hardware store for 3 bucks too.

then you certainly dont drive it like a rock rig!

i've broke a number of stock shafts on just dirt messing around, you have to try harder not to break stock drive shafts than to break them.
