Default Gmade G-transition shock mounting problems

I bought a set of Gmade G-transition shocks and I am a little stumped.

There aren't any instructions for mounting them to a vehicle, I used the photos on their website where they show them mounted to an SCX-10.

The top "ball" is flanged on one side and they show it going up against the stock spacer on the shock tower. The problem i am having is that mounted this way the shocks can just slide off the "ball" after cycling the suspension a few times.

So I flipped the "ball" so that the flanged side is facing out, but now of course they just slide off the "ball" onto the stock spacer.

I thought about placing a washer and maybe an O-ring to keep things in check but I'm afraid that will bind things up.

Anyone else out there have them installed on their SCX10? Or any Ideas??

Thanks Jason

well whats the difference between a washer and the flanged side?.. since its already sliding off it binds no matter what right? i imagine a washer and o-rings are your best bet.. good luck!

I agree, just try a washer and go from there. Good luck!
