| Gmade G-transition shock mounting problems
I bought a set of Gmade G-transition shocks and I am a little stumped. There aren't any instructions for mounting them to a vehicle, I used the photos on their website where they show them mounted to an SCX-10. The top "ball" is flanged on one side and they show it going up against the stock spacer on the shock tower. The problem i am having is that mounted this way the shocks can just slide off the "ball" after cycling the suspension a few times. So I flipped the "ball" so that the flanged side is facing out, but now of course they just slide off the "ball" onto the stock spacer. I thought about placing a washer and maybe an O-ring to keep things in check but I'm afraid that will bind things up. Anyone else out there have them installed on their SCX10? Or any Ideas?? Thanks Jason |

well whats the difference between a washer and the flanged side?.. since its already sliding off it binds no matter what right? i imagine a washer and o-rings are your best bet.. good luck!

I agree, just try a washer and go from there. Good luck!
