Default battery placement

So my truck is a bit top heavy and i need to move the battery down and the electronics to the back i think. Anyone have some pictures of people doing this or any other creative way of having the electrics. I have an interior in my truck so i cant have the battery cross the frame or the body wont fit down over top of it. At the moment im limited to my stick pack as no more funds for toys for a while

thanks

I run my battery across the chassis rails where the electronics box generally goes. My receiver box has been moved to the back of the truck.

My first kit - Dingo Defender
Hopefully my pics give you an idea of a nice free solution.

I run mine on the rock rails as well, but need to come up with a different scenario for more weight forward. My Dingo still wants to roll over backwards on a steep incline even with weighted front wheels.

Weight in the rear tires? Counter balance makes a ton of difference.

I run the rcp crawlers battery tray that lays across the frame. The esc is in an am machines mount and the rx box is on the battery tray.

here's how I have my electronics setup. battery isn't in the pic, but you can see the tray/strap for it up front. Top of battery is slightly lower than the shock mounting points. Battery is a 5000mAh hard-case Dynamite Speedpack LiPo. Rig is just over 8lbs

I've had the best results from my cut down stock battery mounts. Battery tray is even with the frame rails. Works better than a sideways battery across the frame, thats behind the front shock towers any day.

My wheels are quite heavy as it stands. Motoworx alum billet, so they are heavier than most. I could be suffering from too light a shock setup in the rear and might do some experimenting with that. Getting the battery further forward is likely part of the answer or go with the motor/tranny up front connected to a transfer case. Just need to come up with a workable design.

The Jevne battery tray looks like a plan as well other than the price. Maybe something like Bubba built. Lots of choices...just need to pick one and run with it.

FYI I built my own because I already had the RC4WD CMS bracket so I didn't need that part and well, it was free I think if you're running a CMS then the sideways mount is the way to go because there isn't even room for a forward battery (well not for me, I'm using a 5000mah hardcase lipo).
