SCX10 Radio Box measurements

Hello everybody,

I have a quick question. I hope somebody can answer it as soon as possible. I checked several honcho threads here but until now I haven't found anything. I’d like to know the inner measurements of the SCX10 radio box (AX8002. I am planning to use the radio box to put in there only the main control box of the axial Night Vision System (nothing else) but I don’t know if it would fit. I don’t own a Honcho to check it by myself that’s why I require your help. This mod would actually be for a Wraith.

I will really appreciate if somebody could tell me the measurements or if anybody is using some other box where the Night Vision System fits well please share the info.

It's got a sloped bottom, so these measurements will look kinda weird.

27mm x 56mm x 22mm deep on the bottom

38mm x 56mm x 18mm deep at the top of the 'slope'

cover has stiffening ribs underneath it, doesn't look to add any volume once it's on.


Don't have an NVS, so can't tell you if it'll fit, sorry.

I would use a project box over the SCX10 radio box.

Considering the measurements of the control box and the SCX10 radio one I think it won't fit. I'll rather take the advice of a project box.
