Looks great! I like your work and your rear tire mount.

I see your mounts but I'm sure how they work. Are you screwing into them from the bottom?

no, the rear mounts are just fitted so the top "snaps" in place while the front of the roof snaps or fits snuggly around the front of the rollcage and under the windshield. If I grab the top I can pull it off but in normal trail running it never budges...

Dude, that thing turned out great!!!

How'd you get the styrene to bond to the pvc? just use CA, or did the solvent actually work on it like it does the styrene?

Very nice. Have you rolled it yet? If so, how did it hold up? The c-channel looks great for the window trim - bent with the flame? You could also try making the sides/roof one piece if you've got your bending technique down, as there would be less joints to (potentially) fail.

Great work!

I've rolled it a couple of times and no damage at all. I think the only way it would get damaged is if it rolled onto rocks...styrene would get some "dents" in it. If it dropped onto rocks (which is why I steer clear of rock hills!) I think it would get some tiny dents in it and it may crack. As far as the joints go they are plenty strong (once you get a good bond with bondene it isn't coming apart no matter what!). Bondene bonds to PVC perfectly...I didn't show pics but I made a test piece to check it out and I couldn't pull it apart with vice grips.

Shot a short video with my phone ziptied to my controller...kinda hard to drive and shoot at same time but it shows what the whole combo looks like moving around...turn the volume down unless you like the squeal of a brushless motor

OK, Andrew,
how do YOU bend a piece of styrene to get all
those compound curves in a single sheet????

BTW Bubba, you drive like a blindfolded Asian-woman who is texting while sipping her coffee,
and fixing her makeup with her third free hand.
ROTFLMAO!

Just messing with ya. I know how hard it is to film and drive at the same time.

But Dude, your head-on-BUMPER-THUMPING
approach angles need re-thinking? No wonder your
tow rings look like they have been put in a blender?

Thump, Thump............. Thump! Thump!

But seriously,
that rig of yours is art on wheels tho.................

Where on Earth did you get all those wonderfull ideas?

hehe

Yeah, I even made a camera mount out of styrene
and a 1/4-20 bolt that attached to my radio,
so I could just sort of point the whole mess twords
my rig....

Didnt help my driving or filming skills one bit.....

That top looks great. It makes the Dingo a little more appealling. Very D90'ish. Killer start.
