| Novak fifty five expert series (#3555)
Hello, I am looking at getting this motor used and cheap but before I do I'd like some opinions on it. I know that there are better motors out there (tekin,HH) but i literally just bought a pair of punisher shafts along with a new FX-R, so at this moment I am fairly unwilling to spring for a new tekin. I am wondering if it's worth my time to run this while I wait or just stick how I am. My current setup is as follows: Scx-10 (12.3 wheelbase) 1.9" steel wheels/rok lox weighted 6oz fronts/3oz backs Stock spur/14t pinion Axial 27t motor (stock) Tekin FX-R Punisher shafts Stock transmission I think that's all the info that would have an effect on motor choice, anyway, please let me know if the novak fifty five expert is suitable for me. |

I have it in my truck, not much speed out of it but loads of torque and low end control. Mine isn't very heavy (6.5 lbs or so) so it doesn't have to work very hard. Also running stock gearing (87/20) and a 2S lipo.
