Default Short course bodies on SCX10

Does anyone know if either the J-Concepts 79 Ford Ranger stock # 0208 or the Revo 3.3 Ford Raptor stock # 0091 will fit the SCX10 Honcho with the 12.3 " wheelbase . What I'm looking to do is kind of a desert prerunner and want a short course / desert type body .

Same question over in Paint and Body. I even replied to it. Ha.
Anyone have a pic of a short course body on an scx?

Also, proline just released this body yesterday. A little more scale looking.

I know with some threaded rod and Traxxas rod ends, you can make about any body fit.

You'll just need to use axle widener hexes or larger offset wheels to widen the track width a bit for that slash body.

The HPI Mini Trophy truck bodies fit pretty darn good on the SCX setup.

I have a Slash and an SCX10... the Slash is significantly wider than the SCX. I had thought about building a Pre-runner myself, so had looked into it. Now if you have a honcho, you may want to check out Dinky's bedside kit. It looks quite a lot like a pre-runner body with it installed. Otherwise, I 2nd the vote for the HPI mini trophy truck body.

as stated already, yes some of them will fit just fine. technically speaking, isn't the cab of the Honcho body already a prerunner-esque body since it has the flared fenders? all you need is a bed.
