Sorry for the delay...had to scrape the ice off my driveway before the deep freeze coming this week.

First off, want to give a weight comparison...not that it matters but I know someone will ask after they are mounted...

Rears:

Fronts (remember that these have the panel protectors):

You can see that these are aluminum versions of the plastic ones...

I love the protector:

What a difference it makes...

From the top:

Mounting them up as replacements is difficult being that there is not flex in them so if your holes aren't exact, you will need to make the fit...but that is OK being that you are sandwiching the lexan between to pieces of Aluminum...

Now they are getting stripped and painted...

I had someone on another forum ask how they would fit the new JK 2dr...

Here is some comparisons....

They look like they would fit with some modification. Just cutting the fender flares off will be too high to mount them...see pics. If you can keep the body line where the flares end now...you would be golden. I know you can do it.

I went through and fitted each fender on. I needed to adjust 4 of the 6 holes...not much but they needed redrilled. This is due to the plastic fenders giving a little...These RC4WD aluminum ones, don't give a thing... I also drilled the holes for the panel protectors on the front

The fenders are powdercoated silver but I wanted to paint them so I stripped them down...and actually they look pretty cool raw...

Next step was to give them a good coat of Etching primer. Same stuff I used on the wheels.

Now I need them to dry thoroughly before messing with them so this project is on the holding pattern.

Tonight I have come to the realization that I have an issue...

After spending a great evening with MzRckcrwlr that involved a nice dinner and then after dinner cordials(her not me)

we get home...................................

And I head down to the shop to finish this build... :hmmm:

So Ending the evening with my wife or my RC Jeep...and I chose the Jeep... Please help!!!!!!!!

Mounting the fenders up was easy after test fitting them first.

They came with silver socket heads but I opted to go with 2.5mm Scale Hex bolts...much better finish with the black.

Here are some misc pics

I see you changed the upper links out (in ur sale ad) which ones and what length did you go with? They look like stock axial aluminum ones but their single piece? Any input is appreciated

Really like the fenders. Want to get some of them. They look cool in black. Great work
