These are additional parts to upgrade drive shafts. I don't know if they are necessary for my new tranny. I heard about the new SCX10 shaft yoke is not working with Robinson outdrive gear very well (always loose connection). Why go with two motors? Why not just one good quality one and volt up?

This is my current motor setup: TRAXXAS STAMPEDE VELINEON 3500 BRUSHLESS MOTOR & VXL 3S ESC SPEED CONTROL 3350X My future plan is two brushed motors if the current setup is not powerful enough for my dingo snow plow. Last edited by errorbug; 01-02-2013 at 03:43 PM.

This is the finished bullet proof tranny. I'm just amazed how tight everything fitting together even they come from different vendors. |

I took my RRP gear to work and had a guy in the machine shop drill holes in the flats on the gear for the screw pins to go thru, that way I didn't have to use set screws to hold the drive shafts on.

Grub screws will stay tight on the robinson gear if you loctite them in. Nice trans, if the single brushless doesn't have enough oomph then 2 brushed won't be much better. I'd go with a single large brushless and be done with it. |

One more thing about L3 mount plate, you may get hard time to fit the big brushless motor to the low position. For dual mounting plate, you can choose to mount big motor in the high position. Last edited by errorbug; 01-09-2013 at 05:46 PM.

I want replacements for the stock gears, plastic teeth have stripped does anybody have the aluminum or metal gears that fit in place without changing the housing?
