Less than $10 for a full set, even if they're junk it's hard to pass on that price. Sure as hell beats $40 a pair for the RC4WD King shocks and they probably suffer from the same problems. The reviews are not too bad either, mostly 4 and 5 stars/crowns.

Here's what they look like broken down (not my picture). The plastic parts need some cleaning up, probably need some decent O-rings and the shafts could use a good polishing, but for less than $2.50 each it might be worth it to give them a try.

From the reviews on the site they say they need to be rebuilt right away but I might have to give them a shot if not for anything but the color too bad the shipping is more than a pair of the shocks lol

Well I gotta say; they ain't to bad. Just as smooth as stockers, longer, and don't leak.

I'll rebuild them sometime soon to get them all about even.

I've got a set in transit now, there was a delay with the first order though. The gray shocks were backorderd and I didn't want to wait that long so I canceled it and ordered the blue set. The second order shipped out in about 36 hours.

If your rig is still pretty light like mine then you'll probably want softer springs. I found some at ace hardware for like 80 cents each. After rebuild and these springs its just an awesome setup.

Its been to cold to run it outside much but this thing flexes like crazy on the bench!

I'm still waiting on a set to get here, the order was placed 02/10/2015. It took a while for the tracking number to move after it was issued on 02/11, not sure what took so long to start tracking. My last overseas Hobby King order took 19 days to arrive (02/01/2014 - 02/20/2014).

I usually get China/Hong Kong deliveries in 2-3 weeks, most recent overseas order from an Amazon seller took 16 days total (01/15/2015 - 01/31/2015). That's about the average ship time I get from Amazon and e-Bay sellers, but I've had some orders from Alibaba/Aliexpress take more than a month to arrive.

My order probably took 10-12 days to arrive. I guess the steam boat must have really been moving.

Bought a set for my scx10 after adding some weight to it. My stockers were leaking and I wanted a little more length. No complants and like the adjustability.

How firm are the springs? I have a gmade r1 with a brushless setup and it's quite heavy.

Sometimes it depends on which port a package leaves from and which sort facility it arrives to when it hits the US. I had a package sit for 5 days in New York city after it got here. Had one shipment through Jamaica, NY and another through Chicago, IL process in just one day. Los Angeles, CA seems to process shipments quickly too. Had one order sit in Malaysia for 7 days, but moved through the US just fine.

Just checked the Hobby King order again and the tracking number is now active through the USPS, so hopefully they'll be here in the next week. Should give me time to decide on which seals to use, looking at a few different O-rings and X-rings for these and other shocks I have.

With a full steel front/rear bumpers and a 7 cell battery, it squats the front a little and rear very little. Definently firmer than the stockers but still lets my rig flex.

They are firm. Too firm for my rig that's why the ace hardware springs were added.

Its tough to beat the price.
