| New JK Kit
Woot! Look at what the magic delivery people left for me! Data Approves! I will be posting up pics here for my build as I go. Some of the details: JK Kit - woohoo! Holmes Hobbies - 27T Pro Handwound CC Bec CC Sidewinder V3 PitBull Rock Beasts! RC4WD JK rims All metal links Four link front and rear Winch Special paint (hint - Mopar!) And some other goodies as it progresses. Im super stoked, I have been drooling over this since I first saw the RTR, and the kit seems better. |

Data realized that an un-opened box with amazing stuff inside is like going to the range and throwing the rounds - so exploration began! Data noted he was feeling a bit tired here... |

After a long day of dealing with illogical lifeforms at work, Data decided it was time to break out some fun and start building the JK axles... Parts! Wait.. tab A and slot b... Locker! This looks like species 8364 runabout... Gear Hat! Smooth movement, precision mesh - check! Ahh.. nothing like a good whisky after a wondrous success! Uh oh - Androids cant seem to hold their liquor Going out for a drunken "Test Drive" - not really functioning "within established parameters" at this point... Jean Luc was not impressed... After Data is done scrubbing the energy conduits, he will be back for the next part of the build! |

so i was looking at this at work and my wife walked up behind me and saw it. after explaining it wasnt Ken (of Barbie fame) putting together a bike, but it was instead Data from Star Trek she says, and I quote "He isnt getting laid".... i love my wife.... |

| Finishing the axles, on to the shocks and drivelines
After spending some time cleaning the energy conduits, Data was back at it - this time with assistance from Jean Luc Picard. First up, finishing the axles. On to the Driveshafts Jean Luc is surprised at the lack of bizarre behavior from Data - but happy with the progress so far.. Data! That IS NOT a Toy! Remind me to have Geordi run a level 1 diagnostic on you later... Driveshafts complete, on to the Shocks! Looks like Klingon Painsticks! Good looking, and smooth! Transporter energizing - more build materializing soon! |

| Some more work
Data and Captain Picard got back to work for a little bit - axles and links finished! First up - making the end links Connecting end links and aluminum rods No Data - its not a grenade... Aligning and connection - looking good Front complete! Jean Luc pretends to not notice the androids' bizarre behavior... surely there were not electrical issues that would ignite the petrol... next up - Transmissions! ... maybe, they seem a bit confused... Beaming up for now... |

Sweet build thread. I like the storyline. I'm impatiently waiting for my kit to show up at the lhs. Take a little longer to show up in Canada.
