Default Chevy SCX10 Build

So I have had my scx10 for 3 years and I'm now sick with the scale build bug lol. So I started with a new proline silverado body and now I'm looking for more ideas. I already painted the inside silver and the outside white so scratches will look real. I also have a front hoop and sliders but I'm looking for some sort of bumper for the rear. Let me know what you guys think

Thanks guys. As far as what's been done. The only other scale thing I'm running is Mickey Thompson baja claws. I had a set of the Ford f-250 mirrors since they match the GM style tow mirrors but the plastic breaks on impact. So I might try rubber next

Nice looking truck!

Is that an 11.4" or 12.3" SCX10 ? Just asking because I want to get a Silverado body for my 12.3".

youll have to shorten or extend the wheelbase.

Proline makes 2 silverado bodys(besides the slash bodys) and the one has a short wheelbase(11.4) and the other has 13inch wheelbase.

Thanks. It's actually duplicolor GM white so it would look real. I have been throwing the idea around about building an interior for the truck. And maybe install a roof basket on the bed since these bodies don't come with the bed. And it's the 11.4" silverado body. It's off by a hair but I had to trim the wheel wells regardless so I wouldn't get any body rub when the suspension cycles

ah ok so you got the smaller one. nice. but look arun on RC4wd. they have a few different rear bumpers for the SCX10. just be ready they may not get past the body. idk how it is for the smaller body but you can see on mine(bigger body) the bumper is under the body.

Yea that's why I'm hesitant about the bumper. I like the flat one they have but I don't know how wide it will be. Wasn't sure if anyone on here made them for scx10s.

which one you talking about? if you click on the one you like and scroll don they have the measurements for each bumper.

and your silverados width is 6.5 inches so you can work on that with the bumpers.

Dingo rear bumper is a good fit for Chevy Silverado crew cab and ext cab if they have same W.
First I was going to trim it. But when I tried it on I decided to keep it as is.

Okay I'll check out the dingo bumper. Was trying to stay away from plastic but if it looks good I may just go with it

So after seeing what's out there I am leaning towards the dingo or poison spider rear bumper. What do you guys think?

Poison spyder has a tire carrier. Not sure it will look good on pick up truck. And it is 2x more expensive.
