Question ford f-250 body

has anyone tried the new proline F-250 cab for the scx-10 ? I got one but looks like the front bumper of the body will need to be drilled to except the real front bumper ?

Let me know. I plan on buying one myself but I am going to use a Pro-Line bumper kit with it.

Does he not mean the new cab that replaces the honcho but you still have the rear cage?

Yep, I know what he is talking about. Pro-Line makes it and it is the one I want to buy as well.

Proline designed the new ford cab to be run with out the honcho bumper. I simply cut off the proline ford lexan one and ran the honcho one

According to Proline they designed the body to work with their bumper not the stock Honcho. I ended up making my body mount posts taller and trimming the body little by little until it fit correctly as I like the stock bumpers looks. Proline also acknowledged a manufacturing defect on the first run of them, I contacted them to let them know about wrinkles in the lexan and they were already aware. Sent a brand new one out within 1 week! Proline's customer service is second to none in my book and the new cab was a bit thicker in some spots to help fix the mold issues.

They didn't have me send anything as far as pics and they told me to just keep the old one. I have 2 complete honcho bodies now. Guess they pick and choose how they remedy the issue and different reps have different requirements???

Mine had the defect in the body at the back to never thought to send them an e-mail I just painted it and carried on, as for the bumper I was cutting the body off at the base of the grill and lights for my set up but in the end it didn't fit. The Body posts line up perfect but my front axle is about a 1/4" to far forward for it to work...

Really?? It's designed to work on a stock Honcho wheelbase. If the stock bumper is removed it should be a perfect drop it fit. Check your links and adjust as needed.

Ya I set it on a RTR Honcho at the store and it lined up perfect, I must have used some longer ends on my stock lower links when I went to 4 link front and rear and that changed the location of my front axle, not to worried I like my F-250 CREW CAB with the Honcho back just as good
