Supper easy to do. DId you get any spare parts? If you did look for a 4link truss. The kits all come with extra 4 link trusses. Anyways if you dont know what you're looking for look at the back of your truck it has one on it now more then likely. If you dont have one then there are plenty of companies that make after market ones. I like the gcm one myself. Good luck hope you get it worked out. | |

just make sure the draglink and panhard are the same length when you do a 3-link, and the benfit of this is to mount the servo off the chassis along with that "scale" look. i personally like my servo on the axle using a 4-link myself. |

I think he was referring to the factory wishbone style 3 link.

You should have a couple of spare links in your kit along with the spare truss. It will mount on the front axle no problem but you will be short 2 screws for the outside corner. I actually used 2 screws from my old servo kits that happen to be 3x8mm to fit. You will probably need another 3x30 bolt for the front truss as well. I actually got away with a 3x28mm bolt from a Team Associated 3x28mm screw bag I bought from my LHS. Make sure you buy a bag of nuts that will go with the screws. This was one of the first mods I did on my honcho when I bought it. Learned a lot about links and suspension after doing this! |

The single leg of the Y kept pulling out of it's mount. I put a large washer under the screw and that took care of the problem while I waited for my BM four link to arrive. Happier with the four link due to the fact it really improved my pumpkin/drive shaft angle.

Thanks for the help guys! Yep, it's the wishbone I want to replace. I think I'll leave it alone until my shocks arrive and payday comes again to get the stainless tube still needed for the links. No sense in tearing it down twice.
