o i haven't received it yet. won it on ebay this a.m.

can anyone recommend a charger capable of charging lipo and nimh batteries? something affordable would be ideal.

also already thinking of "whats next" stuff. probably jeep wrangler body, front bumper and maybe winch, scale accessories. any recommendations on weather the electronics it is running are suitable for crawling or not would be helpful also.

Welcome and awesome rig you won! I actually use a charger I purchased from Value Hobby and it was only $20. They sell the power cord adapter separate for another $10 or so. The charger seems to be a clone of the Xcelorin charger and it will charge both NimH and Lipo up to 6mAh max charging speed. The power supply is only rated at 5mAh so that is the max charge I can get out of it on my batteries.

That thing is cool looking. I saw it listed on ebay, glad it went to a good home. I use a Hitec X1 ac charger, it works great for the price.

Looks great! A cheap and reliable charger that I have used is the turnigy 80w - link: Turnigy 80w
Have been using the previous version of this one for years without any problems - and for $32 it's well priced! It does LIPO, NICD, NIMH, LIFE, etc...

"Run it, get used to it as is until something breaks, then mod."- A piece of advice I picked up from this forum. Coming from SCT racing, upgrades are easy, but here DIY mods are more fun!

That's the plan. I don't want to throw a bunch of money at it as I have a real rig I'm building. I can't spare alot of cash on the rc as the jeep jk is spendy enough.

I do need a charger tho. Any input on the ones I mentioned above? I need it to charge lipo and nimh.

My son and I are still using our Onyx 150 (http://www.bigsquidrc.com/duratrax-o...charger-review) chargers from racing. They are easy and inexpensive, comparatively speaking, I bought two. They charge Lipo's only.

Finally picked up a charger and a new 3s lipo. So much fun. Also ordered most of the parts to fix the mrc. As soon as that's done me and the kid are going to hit the trails!!

Also want to find a jk body. Anyone here looking to sell one?

picked up a new bright body. not sure if i should try and fit it or sell it.

a guy offered me a set of vanquish slw's for it. i can obviously buy the wheels in the future but finding another new bright jk isn't cheap or easy.

thoughts?
