Battery size is not a huge deal for G6's as you can change batteries on course.

Kinda depends on how you drive your rig and what motor/gearing you have.
Thanks! I just like a lot of wheel speed and all I have ran in a crawler so far is a 2 cell... I am just wondering with a tekin fxr and 35t pro hw is a 3cell will have a lot of when speed?

I copy bits and pieces of rigs from folks all the time. Lots of great ideas to build from on RCC. Post up a build thread or some pictures in this thread.

With that setup you will have to run a 22tooth pinion or bigger with the 87t spur to get the wheel speed. It would be better to jump up to a 27t or 21 turn brushed motor. Or a Tekin 13.5 brushless or a Holmes Hobbies 13.5 brushless when they are available.

Looks great.
Pretty easy make one up, huh? I like the look of the GMade shocks.
My rig works great on the rocks or the trail.

Sent from my thumbs.

Thanks! I like 'em but they're a tad big for scale appearance... But they're supper smooth and easy to tune. Good to hear. Saw your pic of the Pitbull tires, are they holding up to all the hype?

Yes the Growlers are working great still with the Crawler Innovations foams. Ran this rig at a G6 type scale run last weekend in East Texas and it did great.

I really like the 1.55 PitBull Growlers but I have had the 1.9 setup on the bench for a while. Finally decided to mount them up today.

Crawler Innovations Single Stage Closed cells for the 1.9 PitBull RockBeasts
Axial 1.9 wheels modded for SLW hubs and some rings I had in the wheel pile.
Out of SLW 225 hubs but you get the idea.

JConcepts hubs mocked up. Fit SLW bolt pattern.

More dress up.

1.9 MTZ's with 4.5" CrawlerInnovations double deuce foams. Medium outers all around.
I really like the way these tires perform. One of my favorite 1.9 tires.

This is a great thread and an awesome build!

It gets 5 stars from me!

IDK how it didn't have 5 stars already??

edit: Only thing I can see wrong with the build is the "cock & ballz" stenciled in the front right wheelwell...WTF!

Thanks. I dunno but this is my "go to" scale rig now. Handles great with the rear 4-link adjustments and looks decent. And nice that it's 6.5lbs rtr with 1.55's.

Havent ran the 1.9 pitbulls yet cause i am
Too lazy to swap some 225 hubs onto them the wheels. Il just buy some more hubs soon.

That's a BC Paints logo. Lol

Love this build! I'm sure it's in the thread somewhere, but I must have missed it, what is the wheelbase?

Stage 1 complete of the Swine Swagger Recon G6. Thanks to the Recon Crew!

Have to skip stage two but this SCX-EXO just flat works. All progress no penalties.
