Default ax30464 install problem

Hey guys,
just got my new axial cvd's today. I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with the pivot point of these shafts? It feels like i need to drill out the end that connects to the stub shaft because I literally had to press the cylinder shaped piece in with pliers. Once i got everything together, it was binding like crazy . I don't see any problem with drilling them, just wondered if anyone else had to do this?
Thanks

i never had todo that mine went in pretty easily but i would suggest changing the pins to something stronger ive managed to break two sets of them.

try a guy called gunnar on here he`s selling better pins quite cheaply aswell

Sounds like something is out of spec. You can try to fit them, or contact Axial and they will probably replace them for you.

I've had at least 3 sets of these and they always go together very smoothly. It's definitely not normal.

took a 9/64 cobalt bit and cleaned out the holes...worked perfect. If anyone else has this problem, don't try it with anything less than a cobalt or titanium bit. I broke off twice and had to use a punch to knock the broken pieces out.
