From the start.
Here are some cell phone shots of my SCX. From day 1 until now. NOT MENTIONING ELECTRONICS.

Bought used. Mostly stock:

Aluminum Links. 1.9 Iroks. Aluminum Links. Trimmed Fenders:

2.2 wheels with proline masher tires: (Bought used for the 2.2 wheels, waiting on ripsaws)

CURRENTLY! Wraith Shocks on Custom adjustable mounts. 2.2 Axial Ripsaw tires. Fenders cut A LOT! Best upgrade yet! Measures out to be 1/8th scale IMO.

Here are some pictures from the other day! The 2.2 Ripsaws are doing great! I'm running the foams they came with, and have 3oz. on each wheel. Great Grip My ride height is great! The Wraith shocks and my adjustable mounts are bullet proof so far! Minimal roll overs! Good flex!

The rig now weights 8.4lbs. haha. What do you guys think?

How about a Honcho bumper with just the centre section and the sides cut away? Or would that still rub?

Looks great!

Thanks guys!!

Yeah the Dingo bumpers won't fit at all, even extended all the way. Scrubs like CRAZY! I've been thinking about getting the honcho bumper center section though. It'll happen sometime

I've had a small problem that I havent been able to solve since I got the goat ESC and 18.5t brushless. Occasionally when I have the throttle in neutral, and give .5% throttle the truck will jerk forward for a millisecond and then stop again. Its hooked to my Lipo battery with a traxxas to tamiya adapter. My on/off switch doesn't exist, so it is hard wired. And I have a castle creations B.E.C. from the battery to my receiver.

The jerk only seems to be present when you give minimal throttle (.5%-1%) and back to neutral repeatedly. Any ideas? I'm no genius when it comes to electronics. I'll post a video if needed.

Traxxas 27mhz. I never had the problem before the goat system. And i bought the goat used, and i tried it with his radio system and it has the same problem. So its not my crappy traxxas stuff haha.

Question Re: My ever-evolving SCX10

Any one ran a hitec 7954 on their scx10 with 2.2s? I'm thinking about purchasing one. My MG946r seems to be crapping out...

the truck looks real nice. i had the same problem with my bumper using 2.2 tires but i scraped to stock bumper and got an aluminum bumper and i used an adjustable mount that allows me to raise the bumper up away from the frame. so you could try to make an adjustable high lift mount for yours out of aluminum kinda like this

and if you want to use the stock bumper instead of cutting slots out like i did you could just drill holes for the stock posts to go through, just a thought for you.

Nice! Doesn't seem like a bad idea.

I gotta say, I'm loving my new phone! I'm not embarrassed to post phone pictures now The camera is phenomenal! (I'm a photography major BTW) The in phone editing software is great too! For stuff like this I don't have a need to bring my DSLRs around with different lenses

Today my MG946r servo wasn't doing too well. There is no way it was putting out 208oz of torque. Barely turning my wheels on flat ground. I'd be lucky if it was putting out 50oz. I'm pretty sure it is done-zo. So I switched back to my Hitec 645MG. I dunno why I ever thought the mg946r was better!! I can hold lines better than ever now!!

I like it, the Dingo came out nice. I think a stubby bumper would look perfect on it.

I completely agree! It'll happen as soon as some extra funds become available. I;m penny pinching through my last 8 weeks of college right now

Rock garden at my house! Super steep! Super challenging. I had to take out a lot of brush. And still need to do some. Anyone have a flame thrower I could borrow haha...
