| Question about CMS/Panhard setup
When making my front suspension links, I initially made them a little too long. This caused the servo to not be able to travel up into the frame when the suspension cycled. However I did like the stance it gave me. So my question is, if I go with a CMS/panhard setup, would it allow me to extend the front wheels out further without worrying about something hitting and restricting suspension travel? really depends on how/ where your servo is mounted, mine doesnt restrict the travel at all, but my panhard hits my servo winch case a little bit. I'm fixing this with bigger spacers to raise my servo winch up. your steering link and panhard should be around the same length, and should be parallel, to prevent any bump steer. i have custom plate in mine, with a custom 3 link and panhard mount. hard to see in this pic, ill take a few better ones later. |
