Axle shaft upgrade

I am ordering VP front and rear axles, plan on using the axial machined chubs and lockouts (already on stock axles), VP truss and Servo mount, for axle shafts I am looking at the VP and the Axial upgrades. At 1/3 the price AXIAL is tempting but thought it smart to ask if anyone had experience with both.

They will be punished, 120 amp esc with a 4000kv 4 pole and an RC4wd 2 speed transmission.

stronger is always better especially if throwing all that power into the drivetrain. pay a little more once and be done with it. Axial upgraded axles are decently strong, but not as strong as the VP and Super300 varieties in stock form (but you pay more of course). With the Axial version, you have to limit the steering throw to not be maxed out and perhaps upgrade your pins to Gunnar pins or piano wire for the best strength.

no problemo. there are plenty of threads here that talk about the different CVD axles. pretty much choose what suites your needs and budget. For me, it was stock CVDs for now and I will upgrade with stronger pins if/when those break. I have no plans to go with ridiculous powerplant, so I'm not quite at the need for Super300s.
