If you have the correct pinion angle you should not have any binding issue's.

You really only need the tires and wheels. Then trim the body and bumpers to clear.

The larger tires and wheels will add enough clearance to make a lift not necessary.

IMO a lift for an SCX is a step backwards in performance.

I have both and if I had been around both before I bought, I would have bought the scx10 first, but make no mistake, I would also have bought the wraith poison spyder. Both were RTR

I bought the RTR wraith poison spyder first and then the RTR scx10..I found the RTR scx10 to be more capable right out of the box than the the RTR wraith poison spyder.

I am not saying the wraith was terrible, just had to do more things right away to make it what I felt it should have been. The trail ready bead locks are a joke..and the servo didnt last more than a couple hours. Its the same servo as the RTR scx10 has,

but the one on the scx10 seems much better. I dont know if its just I got a bad one in the wraith or if its just the scx10 is not turning as much tire, plus the steering linkage is shorter.

There seemed to be a very large number of issues with it in the wraiths, people doing bearing mods in the cover seemed to prolong it, but still it had to be replaced too soon..

I think my 2.2 tire/rim combination will be a perfect solution for trail running and moderate rock climbing. I will be replacing the servo soon though, still dont trust it.

my lift was a minor body lift, so no adjusting pinion angle was needed..

You do this in the length of the upper links or lowers . The upper links need to be a bit longer then the lowers .
