Those batteries must weigh a ton!! However, if you like traxxas connectors, use them!

Agreed ^^^

No need for that size battery in a crawler / scaler.

You should run a pair on top of the sliders to keep CG low and for better balance. But even so, at 17.3 oz. it's a brick. I run a pair of 4s lipo's that weigh 17.3 oz. total.

The batteries are a bit big but you don't weigh anywhere near what a rig would weight with all the aluminum hop ups and such..If you can put that weight behind the trans running parallel its not such a bad thing to have the added weight.

It would help you climb up hills better if anything and give added traction on the front.

What kind of crazy run time would you get with 10,000mah? 4 hours?!?

wow. 10,000 means like a three day run time if you just go out for a like 1.5 hour crawl sesh's! but regarding the connectors, i have always preferred deans just because they have always been a good plug and dont require the precison soldering to fit them into the sleeve (like traxxas). Of course if your ESC is already fitted with traxxas connectors and your buying them with traxxas plugs this may be the better route.

With two of those you may never need to use a charger again.

As for the Traxxas connectors. I like them a lot and have used them for years. They are easy to solder and work very well.

like i said they were venom and for the price it wasn't gonna hurt me either way
I'm really trying to divide on the best motor esc comb but I'm torn between the novak goat novak timbuk2 or something from hh

i bought a combo kit from tower it was the rubicon builders kit duratrax esc axial 55t motor a cheap nigh battery and charger
re thinking things i should have just gotten the kit itself since I'm replacing everything it came with i use a spectrum dx3c for my 1/5tha scale so the tactrix radio was the first thing i took out lol
