| help w g6 build
hi everyone im building my g6 now and came accross a issue. im on pg 26 step 33 when i go to put the screw axa119 though ax80041 to mount the link the screw hits the motor and i cant get the nut on it

Yup just back the screw out almost all the way grab the nut with pliers and just give the motor a little push down should be able to get the nut on there then

that worked, now another issue the servo horn is hitting a brace

Ditch that second brace, it isn't needed unless you run the battery in the front which is less than optimal.

| Re: help w g6 build Bad design by Axial If your running the battery in the stock location, I took my dremel and just trimmed the crossmember until it cleared the servo arm. No, you don't want it in the rear, either. Look closely at the above pic. His battery is in the front, custom mounted behind the shock towers. The other "good" option is twin batteries mounted on top of the slider mounts.

just a update about the motor hitting one of the upper link screw, i ended up taking some of the lexan that was left over from cutting out the body and made a shim using two pieces of it and put between the trans and plate that it sits on
