Default New scx10 unlimited rubicon kit

My kit arrived today, this will be my first scaler/crawler/trail truck.

I have awesome terrain right behind my house, hills/rocks/trees, it is prime.

I have a justock esc and 17.5t motor that was in my buggy I recently sold as a roller. as well as an extra receiver for my futaba 3pl, so all I would need to go would be a servo.

How much torque should I look for in a servo, also should I get a castle bec?

Decided to not use the sensored in the scx10, I moved it to another vehicle, plus I want the scx10 completely waterproof.

I ordered a HH torquemaster brxl waterproofed with the 27t sport motor combo
Savox 1210sg waterproof servo...277 oz of torque @ 6v, should be good,I wont be doing HC crawling, more trail runs with light crawling thrown in, I was going to get the 1230 but I really dont like voiding warranties waterproofing non waterproof electronics.

I have a bec set to 6v on hand if the brxl bec cant handle the servo
And I picked up 2 new 3s 2200 mah lipos, should be awesome with the 27t motor, I also have tons of 2s lipos for when I want to slow it down.

And my LHS had a can of pactra fiery orange paint...HELL YEAH
Just need a day off to get it built lol, life never fails to take all your time when you need some lol

Started the build, both axles are giving me a problem, when I put the ring gear in and turn it everything feels nice, when I put the case together it has a clunky clicking noise, I can feel the teeth knocking.
Pulled it apart, made sure bearing under the pinion was seated all the way and tried again, same thing both axles.
Gasket is inbetween gear and locker, greased, no noticable burrs on the gears or axle case.
It is driving me nuts
If it is defective out of the box I am going to be completely dissapointed, I was really lookinf forward to this build but this is getting annoying.
I watched videos, read posts, I am doing nothing different, the directions are pretty simple, I dont think I am doing anything wrong.
can anyone help me past this.

Some screws are a bit too long, and when you tighten them, they will grind on the axle shafts, put everything back together, and if it feels choppy, start backing off a screw one by one.

Try pushing the inside pinion breaking in farther... mine did that and I had to tap the bearing down farther with a little hammer.
