|  SCX-10 & Axial Maxxis Trepador 2.2 Tires...?
Hello fellow crawlers! Sooo I, the man behind the keyboard for the Owensville Crawlers, just ordered a set of wraith wheel hubs and wheels(topcad) for my scx-10 as well as a set of the newish maxxis trepador 2.2 tires. any thoughts or comments on these before I put them on? body and all is already trimmed up n ready. just curious to their likeness to the ripsaw tires/foam and such. thank you.

I love my 2.2's on my wraith so im hoping im equally as happy with them on my scx-10. but the scx-10 seems to be a little built around the 1.9s

The "Treps" are OK in my opinion, but there are plenty of better tires out there. They tend to clog up easily with mud. The Pro-Line Super Swamper TSL's work exceptional, as well as the Pit Bull Rock Beast II's. |

From my experience the tires work decent but are only as good as the foams inside of them

so would u say they need a softer or firmer foam? they are going to be mounted on alloy wheels which are a lil heavier so I was thinking firmer. I crawl in n through a lil bit of everything.
