Default Stretched scx10

79 ford supercab
Bought the body off ebay already painted, decided I had to build this on scx chassis.
Used stock esc with 27t motor and spektrum dx 3 tx/rx.
Running gearhead 1.55 slots with pitbull growler tires.
Added dinky interior and axial interior and exterior detail kits.
Custom built rear bumper and rc4wd front bumper.

Well after running the truck a few times it was obvious the truck wasn't gonna stay looking so clean and new.
I upgraded to a 2spd tranny from rc4wd with 20t motor and tekin fxr esc.
Also changed to 2.2 flat iron tires on wide wheelbase revolver wheels.
The dx3c transmitter works great with the 2spd tranny, little tweaking with endpoint adjustments and servo arm lengths and it shifts perfect.
Using dual shocks front and back, rc4wd scale shocks and proline powerstrokes.
Decided I wanted performance over "shelfqueen" looks, and this truck is a beast on the rocks and great speed for dirt bashing!

comes my judicial criticism.

1. Those cheesy plastic sliders need to go.
2. The trim around the windows needs marring/rust.
3. Needs inner fender wells.
4. The tires look to be outboard too far (or 2 wide) to be scale.

...nice work regardless of my capt. criticism flaw. Lol
