Default parma (#10116) 1/10 Maxx Firetruck

Will that body fit on the SCX10 platform? I tried to search for an answer and even searched Google images, but came up empty. The wheelbase and such look like it will work...

From their description:

http://parmapse.shptron.com/p/1-10-f...uck-clear-body

"11.8" WB and 7" Wide at fenders, 6" wide on panel sides. 18" Long"

The wheelbase is slightly shorter than a deadbolt. You'd need to come up with shorter links and possibly shorter driveshafts, but not by much.
The width would likely be ok.

That's kinda what I was thinking also. My boy loves fire trucks and I bet he'd be really excited to have one of these painted up like an offroad forest service truck.
