Default Ty's Parts Bin Honcho

Digging through my parts bin sometimes surprises even myself. I found just about everything I need to build a stock-ish Honcho with a few little mods. I plan on keeping this one simple as possible and will only upgrade what breaks. Will update when I have more!

Honcho RTR body (1st gen!)
Proline Flat Irons
Vanquish Methods (pre-production)
Vanquish .475 SLW Hubs
Hand Bros CMS
Jevne CMS Plate
Tekin FXR
Tekin ??T
Spektrum SR2000
?? Servo

Updated OP, but I rebuilt the axles with fresh bearings and Rocksmith Gear Jelly, all M3 stainless hardware, installed the Hand Bros CMS and the Axial rear 4-link truss. Transmission is greased and new bearings, shocks rebuilt with 40wt and now I'm just waiting on a few little parts to put it all together.

Finally got it to roller status! Just need to figure out where/how I'm going to mount the electronics box (doesn't fit where I normally put it with the Honcho bed) and make some inner fender liners. Shouldn't be long before it's rolling under it's own power! Used what I had on hand, may replace the lower links with aluminum or Ti eventually but they will do for now.

Standard poser shot:

A 27t or 30t is really the good spot for the sxc10 IMO. But I'm sure you have plenty of 35ts around there instead. Use some laydown brushes, maybe a small comm if you got it and don't care about accelerated wear.

Pretty sweet parts bin rig!

Yeah I got them awhile back, before they were on the market and just didn't have a rig to put them on yet. Build a stocker, this one is pretty stock other than the plate, CMS and wheels.

Yep, I just need to find some rear lowers, hoping I stumble upon them somewhere!

First run this weekend, truck did great. Always blows me away how capable a stock-ish rig really is! Had a blast!

So I offed my Bronco and decided to throw all of its upgrades on the Honcho. It's now got VP knucks, chubs, VVDs and lockers, ECX shocks, 3 Racing Winch (soon to be servo) MIP drive shafts, Axial HD trasmission outputs, Pro-Line Overland roof rack with 4" and 2" LED bars and is powered by an RS GEN2/ROC412 3100kV combo. Had to get creative mounting the electronics box, this should work for now!
