| Aluminum Steering Question
The last time I built a kit it was still the original with the Betty body. I just ordered a G6 and want to build it right. It looks like the chubs and knuckles still go on with self tapping screws. If I order the aluminum parts do they come with machine screws or will I need to order those? Thanks in advance. I hate to ask such a newb question but google didn't help me on this one. |

my Axial alloy chubs/knuckles came with machined set screws. I can't say for sure with others... but I will guess they would include at least machined button head screws. I run std Beef Tubes in my axle housings they give the axle housing(s) more strength, weight as well... offer a more substantial screw thread hold. |

Vp does as well! Hot racing has a nice set of high clearance knuckles also but my first choice would be vp or axial just know that vp Ackerman knuckles can rub tires without more offset but axial don't! Beef Tubes are a great addition to any axle! |

Ok so they do come with screws. Thanks for the info. Normally Tower would list that but their site just said the 2 knuckles.
