For my SCX-WRATH I went ProLine Power Stroke front all around. For my 4X4X4 Wraith, I use the same but rear all around

Powerstrokes are some of the smoothest shocks money can buy . But the dual rate shocks from rc4wd have the looks.

On my g6 I use rc4wd super lift 90mm mounted upside down with just enough 7000 weight diff oil to dunk the piston when fully depressed. The thick oil provides enough friction to make it run great and not bounce around.

I hear a lot of hype about the king shocks for performance and looks. I personally run a 108mm aluminum shock on mine that I bought on Amazon. I can definitely say the overall flex improved with the longer shocks because there is more travel.

I run rear shocks off a stadium truck on all 4 corners with front springs off a stadium truck on all corners. It get great articulation and a low slung height

nice,so between proline and king we've got nice smooth shocks vs slightly longer scale shocks big question is is having smooth consistant shocks more benefitial than having longer shocks that provide more articulation?

I heard less is more. As in less articulation, more something else.

im running the losi 4" crawler shocks. been running them a couple weeks, not a drop of shock oil leaked, and I did nothing to help the seals or threads, just assembled. I have to say they are very smooth, a couple mm's shorter than stock wraith shocks, which is what i was running on my scx deadbolt. There is no comparison between stock axial shocks and good quality aftermarket shocks. Kings, Losi's, proline's, and a few others are a great upgrade. I have ridiculousness flex in crazy off-camber situations, I think i need slightly heavier shock oil... anyhow, whatever your choice, you should be happy

I have a new scx10 G6. Can I go to 100mm (or longer) shocks without affecting driveline angles too much, or does something else have to change?

I use the 100mm Kings and dont have any issue with drive line angles. It all about the preload setting....keep it at a lower static height to get more droop.

Measurements for the Kings are 100mm uncompressed and 70mm compressed.(if I remember right)

I run stock Axial shocks. Each with 30wt oil that sits all over the axles and the floor when stood. Ride is bouncy....very bouncy.

just my 2 cents, the lower you rig the better it will perform. I run gmade 103 but use a lift kit to lay them down and lower the truck. My scx is a multi purpose rig, but runs in trail class comps alot. Stability is a must, I cant afford to be on my roof ever. the taller a rig is the more it will flip.
