Why not use wraith axles? If you're going for a 12" width the wraith axles would put you right about where you want to be.

Well it's decided I'm gonna do a wraith. I'll probably order it in the next couple weeks so I can start my chassis. Body is almost finished needs some smoothing but I'll post up some pictures tonight.

Great skill and super fast work!! I have a NB JK as well I'm looking to gut those stock flares too. Are you using CA or some adhesive to keep your new ones on?

Thanks man I'm using the bolts that come with the fenders I just needed to glue a strip around the fenders in the front they were a little small for the nb body.

Little update I got my stickers in!
1:1 rattletrap

Well I'm not gonna be painting for a few weekends. I've came up with a brilliant plan.... I'll let the pictures do the talking.access to the electronics!
I'm gonna make some hinges and some hood clamps to make it "scale functional" just like a 1:1

I like that front bumper, which one is it and what is the width of it at the widest point?

I love this body. Definitely one of my favourite builds. Not at all like anything else so its actually worth watching.

I think the idea to go with the black bed liner looking paint is the right decision.

Looking forward to seeing more of this.

Well fellas I been workin on the hood and I've came up with a "scale" way of doing it! Enjoy!
So that tube will be cut in half the I will run a bolt through it and it should hold up.the front part to hold the hood down 1/4" o-ring a beadlock screw and some styrene tubing
