When they say over-drive up front they mean the 36/14 axle gear set up front with the stock 38/13 in the rear axle.

If you're going to under/overdrive I would suggest getting the HD gear for both axles. The soft, cast/molded stock gears are not the strongest.

36/14 is the overdrive, 38/13 is the stock gearing, and 43/13 is underdrive. You want either the same gears front and rear or faster gears up front. My personal preference is a minimal gearing difference using the stock 38/13 up front and the 43/13 underdrive in the back.

Me personally, mine are the same front and rear (still stock ration for now also). When I raise or lower the gear ratio in the axles it will still be the same front to rear.

If you want to overdrive the front you put the 36/14 in the front axle and leave the 38/13 in the rear.

If you want to underdrive the rear you put the 43/13 in the rear and leave the 38/13 in the front.

If you want to overdrive the front and underdrive the rear, you put the 36/14 up front but also install the 43/13 in the rear.

OD and UD gears at the same time are more for comp crawlers like I got in my Losi comp crawler

Just do one at a time and see what works for you
