Default Help needed!!

Ok I switched the front of my scx10 falken edition from a three link to a four link. Now my servo horn hits bar that I was going to use to move the battery tray to the front. I took it apart and tried again and it still hits the horn.

Did I do something wrong?

I figured that. I was wondering if there was something I missed. Guess I'll keep the battery in the back

Put your battery across the chassis behind the shock towers. Weight is much further forward, and spread even left to right.

Or make a plate to move the servo back a little. Either way you can keep that crossbar for chassis support.

Lay the old three link in there and see if you made the 4 link too long. Is the axle clocked further forward than it was before? The Falken edition has a 12" wheelbase, stock.

Did the 4-link conversion tilt the front axle or extend the wheelbase up front?

Did you change the servo plate during the conversion or make any other changes? Looks like you've either tilted or shifted/slid the axle forward or slid the servo forward, if you had clearance before the conversion.

My g6's servo hit the same brace, it is a known problem when 4-linked, just remove it or dremel as others stated.

Cheers,
Wade

Use a dremmel to clearance it . Shave the crossmember, it makes the front of the frame stronger than removing the frame brace up front.
