Default Possible motor issue?

So for the last three times I have taken my honcho out to trail it's been cutting out. All electronics are stock other then the savox servo I installed Sunday. Could this issue be a bad motor or batterie.? I'm at a stand still

The servo is a savsc1258tg. I'm not sure what voltage I'm running. I'll have to check when I get off work today

Not just a BEC, but do you have an external BEC?

See the note on Amain's page for the servo.

I do not. I'll have to see if my local hobby store has them
