| Hubs required???
Are the aluminum hubs required for a set of RC4WD RaceLine aluminum beadlock wheels on an SCX10 with stock axles? If it makes a difference I have the STRC aluminum goodies on the outside ends of the axles.Really wanting the RaceLine's without the extra cost of the widening hubs. Hubs required??? |

Which Raceline wheels (part/model number)?? The 1.9 inch "Monster" I'm looking at don't need a separate hub, just the 12mm hex (AX30427) that comes with the SCX10. This set is said to have a 12.8mm negative off-set which is nearly the same as the stock wheels at 12.19mm (just .61mm or .024" difference). You shouldn't have a problem mounting them. However, "off-set" is not the proper term for the measurement they're giving. Backspacing is the proper term for that measurement. The negative off-set is actually around .95mm if my math is right.
