| scx10 esc problems ok today i set my scx10 up. im using a flysky reciever with a turnigy gtx3b transmitter. ive got the stock 27t brushed motor hooked up to a hobbywing ezrun 35amp esc running on a 6 cell nimh pack. problem is ill running forward or reverse and it will run at full throttle which isnt fast at all and then it will just cut out. esc with blink red. ill hit the transmitter in reverse real quick then the green light will come on and i can go forward again for lil bit and then it will die again. and if i hook a 7 cell nimh it dies and i have to turn the esc off and turn it back on to get it to move. Did i do something wrong or is the esc need something or is the esc just junk??? |

Try charging the battery up again then rebind the rx and the tx then recalibrate the ecs. If you don't have the instructions there should be a utube video to help with each step.

Sounds to me like the Lipo cutoff is on, and it is running in reverse...

Lipo cutoff is on...either disable it or run a lipo battery

If you don't have the manual...download it and see what it says on how to disable the lipo cutoff

| Re: scx10 esc problems i did look up the manual on google and i turned off the LVC on the esc but it still cutting out. Im thinking this esc wont work on a brushed motor. Says nothing about running a brushed motor on its speicifications. |

If it doesn't say brushed motors or have wiring instructions on using a brushed motor, then it's not brushed motor compatible. The majority of brushless ESC's are brushless motor only.
